Learn ways to embrace your fears and become a Feardom Fighter!

Feardom Fighters invites you to join us for a FREE day of inspirational talks, stress relieving activities and exciting exhibitions as Leeds comes together to create an uplifting day that  you will not forget.

Most of us feel anxious about a whole host of things – but frequently imagine that other people don't feel the same. It’s time to admit the truth.

Anxiety is just a basic human emotion we all feel. However society has taught us that we should avoid emotions such as fear, shame, and uncertainty because they make us 'weak'.

 Our emotions are a part of what makes us who we are. Hiding these basic emotions is making us unwell. 1 in 4 experience anxiety at some point in our lives. The same number of people believe feeling anxious is a sign of not being able to cope. Research tell us otherwise, that revealing our vulnerabilities is an accurate measure of both courage and happiness.

So we invite you to the Feardom Festival:

  •  encourage yourself and others to make unspoken fears spoken;

  • embrace new ideas and experiences;

  • educate one another on stress relieving strategies so that we can all be our true and authentic selves.
